Detective Bureau
The Detective Bureau investigates crime in the unincorporated portion of Tuscarawas County as well as in the cities. The Detectives are trained and assigned to investigate virtually every type of serious crime. The detectives assigned to the bureau receive specialized training in areas such as evidence collection, narcotics investigations, computer related crimes and homicide investigations.
The Detective Bureau proactively investigates crimes such as drug trafficking and internet crimes against children, working closely with Federal Agencies such as the FBI and DEA as well as with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.
