About Us

The Child Support Enforcement Agency is responsible for the location of non-custodial parents; the establishment of parentage; the establishment and modification of child support and medical support orders; and the enforcement and collection of child, spousal, and medical support orders.

The Ohio Child Support Enforcement Program is State supervised, and County administered.  The Tuscarawas County CSEA is directed by Attorney Traci A. Berry under the authority of Prosecutor Ryan Styer.

The staff consists of 25 employees organized into four units.  The Case Management Unit is the largest with 11 Case Managers and 1 Supervisor.  The case loads are broken down alphabetically by the man’s last name.  The Customer and Financial Services Unit consists of 2 Customer Service Specialists, 2 Intake Specialists, an Audit Specialist and 1 Supervisor. The Legal Unit consists of 3 Attorneys, 1 of whom acts as Administrative Hearing Officer, 2 Legal Secretaries, and an Adjustment and Review Specialist.

Tuscarawas County CSEA administers approximately 7100 open cases and distributed over $14,500,000.00 to families in FFY 2018.
