TRAILBLAZERS
Purpose of Trailblazers:
The purpose of the Tuscarawas Trailblazer volunteer bike and hike patrol is to provide information, education and assistance to park visitors on park trails and to assist the Tuscarawas County Sheriff by observing and reporting hazards, violations and concerns. Volunteers will encourage visitors and trail users to protect and preserve the resource.
History:
We realized there was a need to have a presence on the trail. Throughout the Ohio & Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor there are Trailblazer Programs. In order to bring this to fruition, we formed a partnership to make this a reality.
