Overview of the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office

Prescribed duties of the Sheriff are as follows: law enforcement services, maintain jail operations, operate a 24-hour-a-day dispatch center, provide traffic control, transport prisoners, maintain courtroom security, deliver legal document, execute court orders involving selling or seizing of property, control crime with specialized programs (i.e. Concealed Carry Weapons (CCW) Licenses, Sex Offender Registration and Notification (SORN), and interact with the community.
