Intensive Supervision
Community Corrections is a treatment-oriented intensive supervision program targeting moderate to very high risk offenders. The department focuses on and utilizes evidence-based practices to effect positive behavioral changes within the offender popluation. Through collaboration with local treatment providers, Community Corrections is able to offer substance abuse and mental health services within the probation department. Treament providers are on-site throughout the week for group and individual counseling, as well as assessment of offender needs. Cognitive behavioral programming is also provided on-site by Community Corrections staff.
As determined on a case by case basis, offenders may be ordered to complete a residential community-based correctional facility program or treatment facility program deemed necessary by the Court and/or Community Corrections personnel.
