I want to welcome you to the Clerk of Courts on-line.  Over the last couple of years, we have been working on improvements to our web site.  I am pleased to announce that we are now able to offer online access to the Dockets and Indices maintained by the Clerk of Courts’ Office.  The records are updated nightly so this site will reflect the information available at the close of business of the prior day.

The rising number of home foreclosures is a problem in Tuscarawas County as well as Ohio and much of the nation.  Southeastern Ohio Legal Services (SEOL) has developed an information packet on how to respond and file an Answer in Foreclosure.  This information is available under the legal forms section of this web site.  Those involved in a foreclosure may wish to visit the Tuscarawas County Save Our Homes Task Force’s informational web site located elsewhere on this site.  Many of those caught up in foreclosure proceedings do not understand how foreclosure actions work.  The task force site provides you with information on timelines for a Typical Mortgage Foreclosure lawsuit.

On this site, you can also find information pertaining to the clerk of courts’ Legal, Title and Passport divisions.  You can search Motor Vehicle and Watercraft Title Records, find a list of Unclaimed Funds and download various Forms.

We have attempted to answer many of the questions that are important to the citizens of the County, the users of the Courts and patrons of the Title division.  We hope you find the site beneficial.  If you have any comments or suggestions, please feel free to contact us.  Our goal is to provide better access to the public records we maintain.
