Responsibilities of the County Engineer:
The County Engineer is responsible for the maintenance of 469
miles of County Roads, including all bridges, culverts and right-of-ways. The County Engineer is also
responsible for bridges on Township Roads, as well as several bridges in cities and villages. The County
Engineer also serves as the Engineering Advisor for the 22 Townships in Tuscarawas County. In addition to
roads and bridges, the Engineer is responsible for maps showing approximately 60,000 property parcels in
Tuscarawas Co.
